The Fevrier property is situated in Macqueville in the Fins Bois cru, 10 miles from the town of Cognac. The soil is predominantly clay and limestone with an ideal sun exposure. For three generations, the Fevrier family has cultivated and produced their cognacs in the purest tradition. With 19 hectares 47 acres of vines, their cognac is fruity, round and smooth, giving it the quintessential characteristics of a Fins Bois cognac.
Aged for 18 years. Situated in Cherac in the heart of the Borderies cru, the Grateaud family has been passing on the art of cognac-making from father to son for five generations.
The nose is subtle with evolved aromas of rancio, wood and violets. The floral tones in particular more complex, with the addition of wildflower honey . Still very pure and aromatic.
On the palate, the attack is sweet and fruity while the middle is marked by mellow alcohol, deep flavor and roundness.
The finish delivers mild and pleasing tannins. This is also a cognac that shows off the floral characteristics of the Borderies cru; the floral notes here have evolved with honey-like distinction.

40-50 year old cognac from 100% hand harvested Ugni Blanc. Navarre is an ancient house and the cognac comes to a natural 45% alcohol with no added water, simply through the humidity of the cellar oxidizing the barrels over a long, long period of time. Following distillation, the cognac is aged in oak barrels for 40 or 50 years. The humid environment of Domaine du Renclos (situated on a river bank) together with the mild, sunny autumns and cool breezes of the Cognac region, naturally reduce the cognac to 90 proof during its three to five decade-long beauty rest. Jacky Navarre – a fourth-generation cognac distiller, and one of the last remaining purists in the industry tends to the estate with a simple rule of nature doing most of the work. He lives, breathes, and makes these incredible potions. However only 60 bottles exist in the US.
AWS Notes: Intense nose of orchards in at the end of Autumn. On the palate- poached pears, bitter rind, dried apricots, grapes and raisins that compliment a spicy, oaky undertone. The finish, which is long, luxurious and hedonistic, has slightly earthy notes, along with hints of cinnamon, honey and oak.

1840 cognac offers ripe, juicy grapes to the nose, accented with meadow flowers, notes of acacia tree blossom and a bracing hint of cedar.
